MEKENZIE SUTTON COUNSELING AND NUTRITION
Mekenzie Sutton, LMHC, CN
Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Certified Nutritionist
I see myself as a curious scientist.
I have been investigating the world and people since I was a child. The quiet observer; intensely curious, deeply empathetic toward the multitude of stories and struggles in the world. I found myself on a lifelong pathway to help myself and others heal, to find meaning in life, and to answer: how do we live embodied, connected lives in this world with the never-ending-simultaneous joy and sorrow?
I started my therapy and nutrition practice in 2020 after graduating with a dual degree in nutrition and mental health counseling, and have now had the pleasure of walking by hundreds of clients as they heal their relationship with food and body, process deep traumas, and find more choice, freedom, embodiment, and joy.
In my free time I am a mom to the most rad son, a hiker, climber, and mountaineer, and find my very most embodiement and joy being outside as much as I can be. My current goal is to shift part of my therapy practice to outdoor women's retreats and climbing trips.
